[The following is the contents of the letter when viewed by anyone other than Narcissa or Lucius Malfoy, thanks to a modified version of the journal warding charm]

Dear Mrs. Malfoy,

Thank you once again for our lovely Hogsmeade tea several weeks ago. I truly cannot express my gratitude too often or too effusively for the advice and time you've given me.

I'm afraid I must beg your indulgence a little longer. As you know, my Grandmother's birthday is quickly approaching, and I wish to do something really special for her this year. I wonder if you have any suggestions on the matter? I had thought, perhaps I might order a custom piece from Ms. Rowle, but I'm afraid my taste may be immature compared to a grown woman's. I hate to be a bother, but as you've been so kind to me in the past, I hope you might deign to advise me once again.

Thank you ever so much,
Pansy Parkinson.

[In addition to the above, the following is visible both to Narcissa and to Lucius on the reverse side of the parchment, which is slightly sticky to the touch in order to draw attention.]

Narcissa,

Please forgive the subterfuge of the reverse letter. I thought subtlety to be valuable in this instance. The charms should be foolproof; I've been practicing them for some time now.

I'm so sorry to hear that you aren't feeling yourself. I suppose I just wanted to let you know that my thoughts are with you, and that if there's anything at all I might do for you, I hope you will tell me so. I hate to think that you're in pain.

I am working on my project. I hope to make progress over the holiday.

I shan't write by this method again unless you and Mr. Malfoy think it quite safe. I've done my best; I wanted you to know that I am hopeful for your recovery.

Yours,
Pansy

Dear Miss Parkinson,
I would be pleased to assist you in choosing a piece for your grandmother. As you know her better than I, could you share her preferences with regards to colors and design? I will speak to Ms. Rowle and have her send some designs for your approval.

Sincerely,
Narcissa Malfoy

(on the back, similarly warded, in Lucius's handwriting)
Narcissa appreciates your kind words, as do I. At present there is not much that she needs, but if you have time during the Easter holidays, we would welcome a visit.

Your diligence does you credit. You may have this information already from Draco, but if it helps, you may need to visit St. Ives to continue with your project.

As for the writing, you are quite a capable young woman with both words and spells, so we believe it should be quite safe.

Dear Mrs. Malfoy,

Thank you so much for your willingness to assist me! The majority of Grandmother's pieces are gold and, just between us, a bit ostentatious for my taste. I don't think there's a gemstone she dislikes, to be honest.

Sincerely,

Pansy

[Under the ward.]
I will do my best, sir.

Thank you for the information.

I'll write you again when I have anything to report. Please do keep me updated. I hope to see you both soon.

Yours,
Pansy
