"Well, bravery is a Gryffindor trait, and you have to be pretty brave to support them," she teased good-naturedly, hoping he wouldn't take it the wrong way.
"Suppose you have a point there," she mused. "Makes for a change to how some people took issue with me at Hogwarts, and it wasn't always because I was in Slytherin either."
Astoria had more or less learnt to put up with it when she realised half the time they were only looking for a reaction. Except maybe for that time in her sixth year when she spectacularly lost her temper and knocked on of her house-mates about for what they'd said.
Astoria shrugged. "I guess so. I mean, it can be, and then other times I just end up wanting to blast the words. To be honest I haven't actually given much thought to it really."
"Not particularly, no - that'd be partly thanks to the blonde hair she's been sporting the last few years," she replied, looking down as she swirled the last drinkable remnants of her drink. Though it wasn't hard for them to look so dissimilar with her sister having sported blonde hair, for whatever reason, since leaving Hogwarts. If there was a reason Astoria had yet to determine what it was.
"Must be kind of nice though, even if it gets annoying at times," she murmured.
