"Somehow I can certainly believe that," she said, chuckling. Not that she knew Ron particularly well... and, okay, so she might be slightly biased and basing her opinion on what she knew of Gryffindors - though she did know that Ginny could get compteitive, especially on the Quidditch field.
"That'd be the one," she said with slightly false cheer. Astoria didn't expect that that bit of news would ruin the night, but then even outside of Hogwarts she'd come across more than one person unwilling to let go of House grudges. "That's not an issue for you is it?"
"Good to know we have some listeners then. Well, I think you can easily guess part of my job," she chuckled. "But, fortunately, tea and coffee gathering isn't all I do. I usually help with the scripts by proofreading them and that sort of thing."
"I can't imagine what that must've been like - well, aside from being noisy," she commented. "I only really had Daphne growing up."
Technically she had Bluebell as well who certainly felt more like family at times than whenever her parents were actually home. Not that Astoria felt comfortable admitting that at this stage, and she didn't want to be looked at with pity.
