Brí considered the question seriously, weighing Jess's options carefully. What would Pip do? He could easily be the front man. He'd make all the girls and some of the boys swoon with his boyish good looks. He could pretend to play the bagpipes, but that felt far too Scottish for the Irishwoman to picture it properly. "What about the penny whistle?" she suggested, grinning.
"You have to tell me your playing schedule. We can do it at the Dads'. They have more space." They also wouldn't mind her inviting people over. They liked people and entertaining, and she knew they loved her friends almost as much as she did.
"That's the problem with Gilderoy Lockhart," she said bitterly. "He's so arrogant that he will never see that he's the one in the wrong. If people don't take to him the way he thinks they should, he'll decide it's their problem. Slimy git."
