Evan blinked at her when she kissed him on the cheek and told him she was glad to know him. He wasn't really sure what had provoked that but he shrugged anyway. "I'm glad I know you, too, GinGin," he replied honestly. Evan did like Ginny and really was glad to know her, she was easy to get on with and never seemed to get angry with him about his silly questions. Frustrated sometimes, perhaps, but not angry. It was more than other people had time for when it came to Evan.
When Ginny told him her mum would be coming around with food, Evan nodded. "Okay," he agreed. Evan did, at least, have enough self-awarness to realise that it really would be most rude of him to eat all of the food Ginny's mum made. "Have a nice day," he added giving her a smile.
