When Ginny didn't respond and instead started clearing the dishes, Evan considered helping, but she looked rather determined in her actions. He also wondered if he should take his words back but then Evan remembered that this was Ginny and she didn't exactly need baby gloves used when talking to her. So he didn't bothered. Instead he picked up the book he had discarded on the table last night and began reading it. He had gotten ten pages in, because Evan was a very fast reader, when Ginny finally spoke again. Evan had almost forgotten what they had been talking about.
"Okay," he replied, because Evan was really getting tired of this 'yes no maybe', it was confusing and seemingly unnecessary. But whatever, by this point Evan was pretty sure that all of Ginny's answers would be a 'yes no maybe', so it, at least, seemed. "Well, let me know if it's ever just 'yes'," Evan informed her closing the book and putting it down. "And I do mean, literally tell me, otherwise I won't know," he added because that was very much the truth. To be perfectly honest, Evan wasn't even too sure what he'd do with that information. Probably kiss her. Probably.
Instead, Evan looked at Ginny with a mischievous glint in his eyes. "So can I have that gold paint?" He asked before adding a 'please' for good measure.
