Ginny abandoned her pancakes in favor of holding her still hot teacup between her hands. She watched Evan as he spoke, making sure she caught every word. She smiled when he called Neville pretty, and she agreed. She sipped her tea and thought of how to best phrase her answer.
"It's different for everyone," she began slowly. "Some people have a sensation of butterflies in their stomachs. Others have stirrings further down. In men, this could lead to an erection at various levels of hardness. In most people, it's flushed skin and increased pulse. Pupils dilate. You might watch their mouths when they speak, or you might want to touch them randomly and for no reason other than, 'I want to.'" She shrugged. "My physical attraction usually manifests in a hitch in my breathing, an increased pulse, and shivers. I call them of anticipation, but I think it's really my nerves preparing for the possibility of being touched."
She nodded. "There are books on the weird sexual attractions people can have. People can have a fetish for almost anything."
