Evan, too, chewed on a pancake thoughtfully, as he listened to her explain what she understood by 'fancying someone'. It made sense, he supposed. "I don't think I have ever fancied someone," he finally commented. Evan really didn't think he had ever felt particularly attracted to anyone physically or mentally and much less both. If anything, Evan only tended to get irritated with people's minds, because they very rarely could keep up with his own. The physical aspect... well, he supposed he had wanted to touch people in a sexual way, but mostly he got bored of them before that could even become a possibility.
"I mean, I find people pretty," he elaborated, more to try to make sense of it for himself rather than her. "Like you're pretty, and 'toria's pretty, and, I guess, Neville is quite pretty?" Evan said thoughtfully. "But I don't think I fancy any of you? But then, if you identify that as liking someone's mind, I definitely like all of you," which then led him to ponder the physical attraction Ginny had listed as an element in fancying but not the be-all, end-all. "How do I know if I am 'attracted to you on a physical level'?" Evan asked, genuinely expecting Ginny to give a well analysed answer.
He was then briefly distracted by her mention of what essentially was arts and crafts. "I could totally build stuff and, sort of, some of them have gold tops," he explained, before frowning.
"Did you know that some people have physical attractions to buildings? I heard of a woman who married the Berlin Wall," Evan informed her, because obviously these topics were linked.
