Ashleigh gave a small but approving nod at Iona's transformation. "That must be frustrating," she agreed. "Is it because there isn't enough time to fully explore everything, or are some of your colleagues not doing the work they ought to do?" There was little to be done about the first, sadly, but in the latter case at least Ashleigh could suggest some ways of dealing with co-workers.
She shrugged slightly in response to Iona's question. "There's always plenty of work available to fill a day, but I find little of it to be fulfilling. Or worth talking about." She'd far rather listen to Iona talk about her work. Even if Ashleigh wouldn't have been a good fit for the Auror office herself, she could appreciate those aspects of it that interested her friend. "Did you have lunch?"
