"Hmm," Evan replied non-committally. Astoria certianly wasn't wrong, Evan knew that his sister could be quite persuasive, because, he, too, had a tattoo to prove it, but he also thought that a lot of Daisy's persuasiveness came from making sure everyone was rather intoxicated when silly decisions were made. Then again, she was also his best accomplice at most things. Even if she did seem to have a ridiculous dislike of Jim. Honestly, bit of glowing eyes and fog and marginal stalking and suddenly Jim's not a good guy. It seemed rather rude, if you asked Evan.
He sipped the tea slowly, savouring the flavour before looking down at Jim, when Astoria made a reference to her cat. "I don't think I've ever seen him sleep at all, to be honest, much less in a wardrobe," Evan admitted as the cat looked up, looking almost scandalised at the prospect of requiring sleep. Perhaps he didn't. Who knew?
Jim then proceeded to walk off just as suddenly as he had appeared. Evan was slowly getting used to it. So he shrugged and looked back up at Astoria instead. "It seemed that my life was becoming empty without being able to look at you," he replied. It wasn't exactly the truth but it wasn't a direct lie either, so that seemed fair. "That," he continued. "And I was incredibly bored," because that was definitely the truth. "So I thought, eh, tea, Greengrass A., stuff. You know," Evan concluded with another small shrug. It wasn't necessarily that he expected entertainment from her but he wouldn't turn it down if it happened.
