Both Evan and Jim followed Astoria in the flat, when Evan sitting down in the kitchen to watch her make tea, whilst Jim went to... explore, presumably? Evan tried not to question what Jim did or did not do. "Water, probably?" Evan responded with a shrug. So far he had learned that Jim liked raw meat, whiskey, melons and tiny living creatures like birds, but water was a pretty generic thing in all of those, so he'd probably be alright. "Don't listen to Daisy," Evan added as he glanced over to wherever Jim had disappear off to. Evan had spent quite a few days with the cat now and apart from being a bit intimidating, Jim was actually pretty great. The fog sometimes got irritating and Evan wasn't a great fan of how sometimes he'd wake up in the night with Jim's glowing eyes just staring at him, but you know, all things considered, Jim was cool.
"So what are you working on?" Evan asked with interest. He liked Astoria's job. Or, well, he liked the idea he had of Astoria's job. Research was something Evan really enjoyed and wouldn't mind doing a lot of. Well, he did do a lot of it, just in a different context. "Did you get far with the 18th Century farming practices?" He added, because Evan genuinely cared. Strange stuff that people didn't often consider was his favourite.
