Yes Ma'am Who: Ashleigh Spinnet and Blaise Zabini. What: Blaise needs an excuse not to go home, so Ashleigh is taking him dancing. (Eat your hearts out Axel and Higgs.) When: Thursday 25th February, after work. Where: The Ministry, then dancing. Rating: U.
It had been a long, difficult week. Not only had she missed a half day of work and her ballet class, Ashleigh had also had one panic attack, a seemingly endless number of emotionally draining conversations and two uncomfortable days back at work. For Ashleigh Spinnet, none of those reasons was enough to cancel an appointment - not even all of them together - so at 6 o'clock precisely, she approached Blaise's desk, already dressed in a modest party dress that ought to work well for their outing. She really had been rather pleased by their interaction over the journals and so, despite the stresses of the past few days, she was looking forward to an evening of testing out a new dance partner. If he was good, this might even become a regular thing.
"Mr Zabini," she said, smiling. Given her recent dressing down of the department head she was, perhaps, a little on her guard lest anyone think there was anything inappropriate in their behaviour. She'd probably relax, at least a little, once they got out of the Ministry. Probably. "Are you ready to go? I can find some more work to do while I wait if you're not quite finished."
