WHO: Gabrielle and Fleur WHEN: Monday evening WHERE: Their living room WHAT: Catching up! CHALLENGES: Bingo (Doing laundry, a family member)
Between her earnest attempts to impress her clockmaking master, and her devotion to the kittens, Gabrielle hadn't really been going out much these past couple of weeks. That meant that it was easy to fall into the habit of doing most of the chores around the house, which she didn't really mind at all. Fleur had a much more important and high-powered job, and shouldn't have to worry about the place being clean or anything.
At the moment, Gabrielle was in the middle of doing laundry; she had one more load in, and was busy folding clothes on the couch, stopping after practically every movement to gently displace one of the kittens, who was doing his best to get onto said couch, where he would no doubt get fur all over the clean clothes. Gaby didn't mind so much, but she imagined Fleur would not like to accidentally be seen with cat hair on her.
"You are very silly," she told the kitten. "Very, very silly. Go climb something else, mon ami." The kitten disappeared, but she had a feeling he was making another sally from behind the couch instead. Mindful of her back, she neatly finished with a camisole and put it on one of the piles.
