Andrew definitely hadn't meant to make the situation more difficult with his statement. If anything, he'd had it in the back of his mind that plainly stating his own desires would ensure Evan knew he could do the same. All the same, the way Evan's eyes widened and the way Andrew could feel Evan against him did nothing to lower the sexual tension. Quite the opposite because now Andrew was vividly picturing exactly what it would be like. Clearly, even though it was off the table for tonight, it was something that needed to happen.
Evan was lucky that when he smashed his mouth against Andrew's he managed to miss his nose. Instead of grunting in pain, Andrew moaned into the kiss - the urgency and the knowledge that Evan was now definitely turned on making Andrew all the more frustrated that they couldn't do it right now. He kissed back hard, one hand sliding into Evan's hair and tugging, the other dropping to his arse and pulling his body closer so Andrew could feel the hard line of his erection. "Fuck," he muttered against Evan's lips. "When we're both healed, yeah? Thank god for wizarding medicine." Even if Evan decided he didn't want to have sex with Andrew - for whatever reason - Andrew was hoping he'd let him fulfil that particular promise.
Being a trained musician, Andrew had noticed Evan stuttering, but he wasn't about to make a big deal of it. He gentled the kiss, giving Evan a chance to get his breath back, because despite his lack of experience he was the one who knew what movements were going to hurt his shoulder. "Is there anything we can do without risking hurting you?" Andrew really didn't want to push, or put any pressure on Evan - but he was taking him at his word that it was his shoulder holding him back and not anything else. That was what Evan had said and Andrew saw no reason to second guess it. "I mean," he added, rolling his hips up again. "You're going to want to take care of this somehow, right? I can help." Andrew wanted to help. He wasn't even really concerned about getting off himself. He just wasn't sure the best way to help that would protect Evan's shoulder from any jostling.
