Challenges/Bingo A dog-eared book (bingo) Mako Mori Test (challenge)
It had been a really tough month. Lisa hadn't gotten to know anybody but her direct supervisor, but then again, she had too much work to do. There wasn't any time to socialize. St. Mungo's had been an easier job with a lot more downtime. However, this was how Lisa preferred it. Not the most social creature to begin with, Lisa had taken to eating her lunch alone with only her book as company. Of course, Lisa was absolute rubbish at remembering to bring a bookmark, so she had dog-eared the pages and hoped that Terry didn't notice. He would not be happy to see that.
Lisa let out a deep sigh and snapped the book shut. She leaned back in her chair and closed her eyes. It had been difficult, but Lisa was slowly getting acclimated to the level of work she was expected to do. She hadn't known what to expect, but she certainly wasn't disappointed. Mostly, Lisa was exhausted. She had a feeling she would get used to everything eventually, but the beginning months were always the most difficult. It was a time to prove herself, and she wasn't sure if she'd been doing well or not. Her supervisor wasn't the most talkative or complimentary, but she had a feeling it was just her nature.
"Oh Merlin..." she muttered softly to herself.
