Oliver's legs hurt. Or well, maybe 'hurt' wasn't the right word, 'sore' was probably more appropriate. Oliver's legs were sore, in no small part thanks to the extreme work-out his trainer had deemed necessary for the whole team. Usually, Oliver was a big fan of drills and exercise and, lets be honest here, even the feeling of sore muscles. But not tonight. Tonight Oliver wanted to feel fine because tonight Oliver was seeing Charlie. It wasn't as often as Oliver would like that Charlie visited, so whenever the other man was back from Romania, the two of them went for drinks. They didn't necessarily have a 'catch up' since they kept in touch even when in different countries, but they certainly had a nice time. And usually it didn't involve Oliver's legs feeling like they were made of jelly. Well. Not because of exercise, anyway.
He'd gotten to their agreed pub a bit too early, because Oliver possessed a physical inability to be anywhere late, or even on time. They had agreed to meet at a new Muggle pub in London that came highly recommended by people who knew about good pubs. Thus it seemed like a good choice. From what he could see, whilst standing outside, Oliver didn't get the impression that the pub was very busy. It wasn't empty, just not very busy. This already seemed like a good choice, because Oliver hated going to places where you couldn't hear the other person talk.
When Oliver finally spotted Charlie approaching, his whole face lit up. This was not an unusual occurrence. By the time Oliver was twelve he had learned that he couldn't control the way Charlie Weasley made him smile. Which was fine. Nothing wrong with smiling at a friend. "Hey," Oliver called out once the other man was closer. "It's great to see you, mate," he added before pulling Charlie in for a light hug. A hello hug. Definitely nothing more than a hello hug.
"Shall we go in," Oliver offered before the two entered the pub. After finding a seat, Oliver volunteered to get the first round. Once back, he set the drinks down and sat down across from Charlie at the table. "So how's Romania treating you?"
