After speaking with Sirius over the journals, it didn't take Remus long at all to arrive. After changing into something he could wear out into the winter night, he apparated out of his house in Hogsmeade and onto the streets of Diagon Alley. Shifting his coat a bit as he walked, Remus kept a brisk pace to the pub his friend owned. It seemed fitting for Sirius, even after all these years, that he owned a pub. He really couldn't picture him doing anything else. An enabler at his best, Remus knew exactly how Sirius stayed in business as well. Minerva would have his hide if he drank too much the day before term began, but he knew he couldn't make any promises or commitments to his own limits with Sirius around, no matter how much he told himself 'only a couple'.
Stepping into the pub, Remus peeled off his coat, enjoying the warmth the room provided. He wouldn't have any need for that again this evening. The drinks would keep him warm when he left. He found Sirius immediately and made his way across the sparsely occupied room so that he could sit at the bar.
"It seems like everyone's gone back to work after the holidays," he commented, taking a quick glance around as he hung his coat over the stool next to him. "I suppose that means I can selfishly hoard your company to myself."
