Evan grinned at the ease with which Andrew just accepted that Jim must be at least partially his, too. At the question, Evan gave a small laugh, pulling Andrew in closer so he could press a kiss against his cheek. "It makes you an Evan and Jim person," he informed Andrew with a smile, squeezing his hand, before pulling back a bit again. "I'm excited," he told Andrew when the conversation turned to being away. Or well, there was a mention of being away and Evan was excited. "I look forward to just being away from all the things," he admitted. Evan wasn't even quite sure what all of those things were but there was something just very greatly appealing about being tucked away in the middle of nowhere with Andrew (and Jim, but he'd probably go do whatever it was Jim did for most of the time).
They reached the pub, or well, Evan presumed it was 'the' pub they were going to because Jim stopped and meowed at the door and Evan shrugged, leading all three of them into the place. Jim went off to the bar like some sort of a regular patron and Evan gave Andrew a look as if expecting him to know whether Jim did or did not frequent the pub. "There's a table," Evan said pointing at a booth in the corner. "Did I tell you that Elise and Byron are coming over for Christmas lunch on the twenty sixth?" Evan asked as they sat down, reaching for the menu.
