"I think he's probably trying to rob you," Evan said when Andrew wondered if Jim wanted to purchase something. Then again, he had been very keen on the drum kit, but Evan wasn't sure his cat could afford a whole drum kit. Maybe if Jim was very nice, Andrew would let him play on his. Both were unlikely. When Andrew left from behind the counter, Jim did jump off, presumably to follow them, so the woman taking over from Andrew had little to worry about. Happily, Evan linked his fingers with Andrew's as the walked out of the shop.
Frowning slightly Evan waved his free hand. "About this big?" He offered when Andrew asked how tiny the tiny human had been. "I guess, I do mean a child, yes," Evan admitted, since Layia had been a child. She'd even told Evan her age, which had seemed a very crucial information to her. "She wasn't an actual ladybug, she just had a jumper with ladybugs on it because she liked ladybugs," Evan explained. "But yes, she said it was just safer to dress as one," he agreed since Andrew was right and it wouldn't harm someone to be dressed as a ladybug or have clothes with ladybugs on them. Evan didn't think he owned any clothes with ladybugs but now felt like perhaps he should.
"I think a giant ladybug would be scary," Evan nodded as they walked through the chilly streets. Jim meowed next to Evan and Evan looked down at the cat. "I think Jim would enjoy scaring a giant ladybug," he commented. The cat enjoyed scaring most things that were bigger than him.
