WHO: Daisy and Lily Potter WHEN: Sunday afternoon WHERE: Potter College WHAT: Coffee RATING: Low? WARNINGS: None? STATUS: Closed/Incomplete
Lily wasn't much of a schemer, sitting in a dark corner cackling over steepled fingers as a nefarious plot hatched in her super villain brain. She left such planning to others (her husband) and pretended like she knew nothing about it. But there are always exceptions, and this was a nice surprise, not something that - she hoped - would end up with unhappy tears.
She believed that her niece deserved something special. If not an actual party - Prim had friends who were likely thinking the same thing and Lily didn't want to impose on a friend's duty - then perhaps another sort of personal day. Daisy, Lily guessed, would know better which of her cousin's friends were likely to plan things and what they might go for, so she would be Lily's first contact. And hopefully partner in crime.
So she had invited her daughter over and had prepared the coffee and sandwiches. The attic office was the perfect, airy space for this conversation. The French doors were closed against the autumn chill, but there was plenty of light filing the library slash office and they would have a decent amount of privacy.
Ten minutes prior to when she expected Daisy to arrive, Lily curled up in a winged chair beside the coffee table and picked up her current book, intending to lose herself for just a little while.
