Higgs laughed when Siobhan said that Max just enjoyed being difficult at times. "Well, he is very successful at it," Higgs teased. He had a lot of doubt whether Max would come around, but the way Siobhan added that he might not necessarily be faced with a choice made Higgs' smile widen. "You're very good for him," Higgs informed her. He might not know Max particularly well, but it seemed so clear to Higgs that Siobhan did a great deal to ground him. For a second, Higgs almost attempted to compare it to his own relationships, but dismissed it as a thought before it could manifest. There was nothing good that would come from thinking about that right now.
"Shall we say Tuesday?" Higgs suggested as they almost reached the tills. "We can rearrange if it turns out Max is busy that evening," Higgs added. That seemed like a good plan. "I look forward to it," he told Siobhan honestly. It would be a rather nice time, Higgs was sure. Especially now that Higgs knew how to ensure that Siobhan didn't feel as awkward towards the food he served.
