The thanks that Siobhan offered, with the assurance that she had needed to hear what Higgs had sade, made a soft smile settle on his lips. One that was perhaps almost too tender in it's ability to hide the way Higgs wished Siobhan didn't need someone to say that. But he did still get it, understood the sentiment well. Bringing his hand up, Higgs run a thumb over Siobhan's cheek gently, before giving her a slightly bigger smile. "Anytime," he told her softly, truthfully, before letting his hand drop back down. Higgs hadn't know Siobhan for very long but he liked her a lot. She was nice and sweet but nothing about her made Higgs think that she couldn't hold her own if needed.
Breaking the moment rather intentionally, Higgs gave a nod. "I enjoy our dinners," he told her, as they readjusted in the queue. "It gives me a nice break from the way my days and weeks are usually structured," he explained, before grinning. "I think, I might even enjoy Max's company when he forgets to hate being there," Higgs told her teasingly. "What about next week? Are you free at some point next week for a dinner?"
