She smiled at how sweet his offer of tapas was. The fact that he was willing to go through the trouble for her was proof that he was a good friend. A good man. Not that she had, in any way, been disbelieving of that fact. Higgs had been nothing if not nice to her since the day they'd met, despite the awkwardness in that meeting. "Tapas would be just fine," she told him. "I'm glad you're still willing to invite me over for a dinner after all of that. Not everyone is as understanding as you are."
She looked at him when he turned her, eyes fixing on his as he assured her that she wasn't damaged or broken. Hearing those words meant a lot to her.
