Higgs nodded when Siobhan said she was sure that Gemma was in good hands. So was Higgs, really. As much as he would've much rather his sister was awake, he didn't actually doubt that the healers were being truthful with him when saying that she'd come through fine. At the offer of a better cup of coffee, Higgs smiled. "I can't turn that down," he told Siobhan, glancing down at the cup in his hand. "I've honestly had nicer coffee in war zones," which wasn't even an exaggeration. St Mungo's coffee was lower on the list than things that had tasted more like mud than coffee. That was not a good thing.
Standing up, Higgs nodded towards Siobhan so she could lead the way. "Thank you," Higgs offered. "I could probably use the distraction," he admitted. "I've just sent owls to my parents and nan, so they'll be here soon," Higgs told Siobhan as they walked. He would've worried about leaving Gemma but frankly, it wasn't like she was even awake to notice.
