Ashleigh laughed, sliding her free arm around Axel's neck as she pressed closer. "I'll have to take your word for it," she told him. "I've never been skiing." Maybe for Aisling's birthday, Ashleigh should take her skiing. Or, take all four of them skiing. That way, Axel and possibly Xavier could pay for themselves and help defray the cost. Ashleigh was sure Aisling could ski - though, given her preference for golden beaches over snowy Russia, she might not like it all that much. Either way, the idea of a holiday for all four of them wasn't a bad one, even if they went somewhere other warm.
Because of the kind of person she was, Ashleigh both trusted herself to remember an idea she'd had and yet, paradoxically, also needed to write it down immediately. So, she pulled away, pressing a quick, apologetic kiss against Axel's lips. "Hold that thought. I just had an idea for Aisling's birthday." It didn't take her long to find, in her bedside table, a notebook of currently-important lists. She opened it to the right page and neatly wrote in 'HOLIDAY FOR 4. AAAX.'
She returned to Axel's arms, this time slipping both hands in under his t-shirt. "Where were we?"
