FALCONS WIN WITH A BANG
Theresa Cresswell, Quidditch Journalist
With the Falmouth Falcons having five consecutive wins under their belt it was expected they'd have an easy time of it on Sunday in their match against the Chudley Cannons, who have had a less than stellar performance all season.
Surprisingly, though it still resulted in a loss for them, the Cannons put in quite an amazing effort throughout the match with them even managing to pull ahead of the Falcons at one point. Regardless of yet another win for the as yet undefeated Falcons it was not accomplished without it mishap.
Unfortunately, for the Falcons, towards the end of the match there was a spectacular crash involving the team's Beaters and Chasers, Elonzo Cummins and Gemma Higgs respectively.
Both players were out for the rest of the match having been taken off field and seen to by the team's Mediwizard. Things didn't appear too serious at first with Mr. Cummins recovering and reportedly wanting to get back into the match despite sporting a concussion. However, it was later reported that Miss Higgs had been taken to St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries not long after.
We have, as yet, not received any word as to Miss Higgs' current condition; however, we all wish her a speedy recovery and hope to see her up and ready for the Falcons' next match against the Ballycastle Bats.
