Siobhan had known Max for so long that she felt like she knew him better than she knew herself most days. He'd been there for her through the hardest moments of her life and she doubted that she would ever love someone as much as she loved Max. He'd seen her at her worst and loved her anyway. That was something that she could never repay. When she thought about her future, she always thought about Max. Siobhan doubted that would ever change.
"Next week would be lovely," she said, nodding. "I'll see what days Max doesn't have any other appointments and let you know?" She wasn't so sure that Max would appreciate that she'd set up another dinner with Higgs, but if she pushed her fiance just a little here and there, maybe he would relax. He needed to get out more anyway and she thought dinner had gone quite nicely. "What's Thursday?" she asked him before she could stop herself, not even thinking that Thursdays might be something personal for the man.
