Siobhan laughed. She could pretend that Max wasn't as stubborn as the day was long, but she knew she'd just be lying. Honestly, it was a quality that she could appreciate at times. Even when it drove her mad, there were good things about his stubbornness that Siobhan couldn't deny. "He'll loosen up. Eventually. Maybe," she said, laughing again.
"Dessert," she said, nodding. "Alright. That I can do. But as soon as we've found a house and settled, we'll have you over," she assured him, making sure to commit the offer to memory and unwilling to budge on it happening in the near future. Hopefully she and Max could decide on a home soon. They were making progress, at least. It was much easier to cross things off of the list than to decide on one, though.
