His reason was as good a reason as any, Siobhan thought. There were plenty of people doing jobs simply because they were capable. Not everyone had a passion for what they did as a career. Many didn't even consider their jobs a career at all. She nodded as he explained his lack of interest in school. "I'm sure that she's very proud of you," Siobhan said. "I would have made a terrible soldier," she laughed. "Some people are just cut out for different things."
She scrunched her nose at the mention of paperwork. "Ugh," she groaned. "I have never cared for paperwork. I do my fair share of it as well, but it can be tedious. At least there are other things mixed in with all the files and patient records. It's not all paperwork, which helps. I'm most definitely not cut out for just paperwork and I have to commend anyone that can do that sort of thing day in and day out." She laughed at the mention of getting stuck. "I'm sure that you were just having an off day," she said. "Now, if you show up stuck to someone else, I might start to question your abilities."
