"Yeah," Higgs nodded. "I'm alright," he told her because it wasn't necessarily a lie. He wasn't doing badly and whilst Higgs was very much training himself in not telling people he was fine when he wasn't, there was certainly a limit to that. To his closest friends, Higgs probably would've given a different answer, but Siobhan, whilst lovely, wasn't someone Higgs knew well enough to burden her with feeling less than excellent. Because that was all it was.
"Are you in a rush?" He asked instead. "Because if not, let me buy you a hot drink in apology?" He offered. It was quite chilly outside and Higgs did have the time to spare. Even if Siobhan declined, Higgs figured he could probably use a hot chocolate whilst he waited for his clothes to be ready for picking up.
