"Work experience wouldn't hurt," Daphne agreed, nodding. She was pleased to hear that Roger had given her sister good advice. She didn't think that he would give her bad advice, of course, but it was still nice to know that he wasn't just good at giving her writing suggestions and had helped Astoria out as well.
The mention of the flat had her nodding. "I think that we should definitely start looking into figuring out a way that we can afford it together," she agreed. "The last thing that I want is for them to use it against either of us. I can take on more hours at work," she suggested. "And if the book I'm working on actually gets published, well, maybe that'll help too."
