DMLE INTERIM DIRECTOR NAMED: JAMES POTTER
By Colette Snigglesworth
In a move that is clearly an act of begging forgiveness, James Potter, who was wrongly accused of aiding and abetting Sirius Black (now a known scapegoat for Crouch Jr.), has been appointed the interim head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Despite recently being relegated to a paper pusher in the department, Auror Potter has been with the DMLE for decades. He had previously been the Senior Undersecretary to the Department Head, which means he has plenty of experience to lend during his interim as the head of the department.
There will be plenty for Potter to work on, considering the state the department was left in while being covertly run by a Death Eater. Not only is that an open case the likes of which none of them have seen before, as well as all being involved as they were working for the culprit, but also a missing person case in light of the disappearance of William Weasley, who apprehended Crouch Jr. late on October 31st. Now it is up to James Potter to orchestrate the department back to form and the good graces of public opinion.
