Not that Higgs doubted that she could, but perhaps he'd buy them both cushions and take Gladys to see one of Gemma's matches, too. Hopefully, the thirteen hour ones would not make a reappearance, but Higgs was sure the Falcons were unlikely to have five minute long matches. Unless, of course, they were to play against the Cannons.
At the offer of dessert, Higgs gave a small laugh. "As if I'd ever turn that down," he told his sister. "Bring on all the ice cream," he announced happily.
