"It's going okay, I think? I mean, nothing bad has happened yet," she replied with a smile. Proper relationship dating was all new and Gemma was mostly just playing it by ear. Gemma's only complaint was Regulus' inexperience and being unused to affection meant that there wasn't much kissing let alone anything else; though it was more an annoyance since there wasn't anything wrong with that and she just didn't want to be seen as complaining. "It's maybe a little... slow going, but it's still good," she said. Regulus might not be entirely comfortable that she was talking about this with her brother but there usually wasn't much she kept from him; though naturally she avoided going into the details of what she got up to.
Gemma nodded. Of course, she didn't have the first clue as to what it must be like to go through something like that but she imagined it wasn't easy, especially given how long her brother and Alicia had known each other.
"Of course, because I'm naturally so loveable," she said with a grin. "How much of that fun was at his expense?" In the same situation she probably would've done so herself - if only to see what reaction she could get. "Thanks. Hopefully it tastes as good as it looks," she commented before taking a bite of her own. It actually wasn't too bad, and she was confident enough in her cooking abilities that she knew neither of them would be feeling poorly later on.
"Maybe getting a bit of a break will be a good thing? Even if it's only a couple afternoons," Gemma suggested. "Though I guess that depends how you feel about being given a break."
