"I don't blame you. Thirteen hours on a broom is something I hope is only a one time thing," she said. Gemma wouldn't mind having other lengthy matches again sometime; though hopefully not too soon and next time there was a match that just went on she was going to vote for a rest. "Yeah, me too. I pretty much flopped into bed when I got home." She had been pretty exhausted at the time, considering she'd gone upstairs to change and had ended up falling asleep while Regulus had waited downstairs. "It was maybe just a teeny little bit rude to Regulus who had seen me home," she admitted sheepishly.
Going back over to the bench Gemma removed the crock insert of the cooker and headed back to the table and dished out the casserole. "Oh. That must be a relief?" she said a little unsure, it sounded as much a question as it did a statement, as she set the crock aside and sat down.
"Well, I'm glad you're okay now. That can't have been fun, or did you make the most of it somehow?" she asked. Gemma definitely knew Max though perhaps not nearly so well as she knew Siobhan, who she'd been in the same year as at Hogwarts. She couldn't recall them having talked about anything beyond the usual small talk though. "I know him, I mean, I don't think we've really talked all that much even though I'm friends with Siobhan," she commented with a shrug. "I don't think he likes me very much though?"
