"Yeah," Higgs nodded at the reminder of the incredibly long match Gemma had paid. "I listened to some of it, must admit not all of it," because Higgs really didn't have thirteen hours to spend on a match. "Glad you seem to have recovered from that," he added presuming that it must have been incredibly difficult. Why the League even allowed matches that long was beyond Higgs, but then he only really knew about professional quidditch as a spectator. Well, perhaps slightly more, since he was related to a professional player and lived with one who also happened to be the Captain of a team.
Taking a seat, Higgs gave a small shrug. "I'm sure the Cannons preferred the five minute one," he commented. "I've been well? Mostly, at least," Higgs offered truthfully. "Alicia signed the divorce papers," Higgs said since that was probably quite an important point. "It should be finalised by the first of December," he elaborated. Before tapping his fingers against the table.
"Oh, today I ended up at St Mungo's because I was being stupid about the right procedures of carrying magical artefacts," he told Gemma. It was a fair judgement of what had happened. "I'm okay," Higgs rushed into add before his sister could worry. "Just got stuck to someone for a while," which really sounded about as ridiculous as it had actually been. "Max Davies? He was a year below me in Slytherin, I don't know if you'd know him? His fiance, Siobhan, she's Pippa's cousin," Higgs added. Presumably Gemma would at least know Siobhan, since unlike Higgs she had been around the Flint-family related events in the ten years Higgs had spent in the army.
