Roger gave a small laugh when Daphne told him to ensure there was a large amount of sweaters and blankets. "I have done this before, you know," he commented teasingly, before going back to her original question. "Switzerland," Roger told her, reaching out to run his hand against Daphne's leg, since they were sat close enough for him to do so. Briefly, he got distracted by the softness of the material of Daphne's tights, running his thumb over her knee. "Oh, skiing, right," Roger said looking back up giving Daphne a grin.
"I asked my brother if you could come with us," he told her. "If you'd like, obviously," Roger added before giving a small shrug. "Well, it is in two months, so also if we haven't set each other on fire by then," which seemed like a reasonable rule for inviting someone to spend a holiday with your family. "Though, feel free to say no," Roger assured. "I get that you have your own family to spend the holidays with," since she did. "But you said you haven't been skiing for ages, so I thought maybe you'd like to come?" Roger explained finally giving a small shrug.
Reaching for his tea, Roger took a ship before frowning at Daphne over the rim of the mug, his other hand still on her knee. "I mean, evidently what this weird-ass relationship needs is a Christmas together," he informed her.
