Padma smiled faintly as she pulled her hands out of the bowl and scraped off the last of the paste that was stuck to her fingers. "I love dance," she said. "I've done a little in my living room, but I prefer to watch."
She crossed to the water basin and quickly washed her hands. "That should be that," she said, nodding to the bowl of paste. "It needs to set up for a little bit, it's a bit like dough needing to rise, I guess?" She shrugged. "Do you mind if I go back to my other potion? You don't have to go or anything, and we can still talk." She offered a friendly smile and hoped that she hadn't said anything wrong.
