"Well," Padma replied, "I don't like seeing people hurting or sick, but I do like the job security." She said this in a bit of a teasing tone, but really the nature of her job kept her separated from the patients so it was easier to forget that there were real people out there in desperate need of medicines. This helped her focus by allowing her to ignore the hurt going on all around her.
"There's a few of us who work down here," she said, "but I probably work the most hours out of any of them. I like it down here, it's quiet and I get to make potions all day. It's pretty much perfect."
