andrew // byron
Byron, like Andrew, did not consider himself very strong with string instruments. The guitar, like majority of musicians, had been the first instrument Byron had tried but he definitely preferred the keyboard, as evident by him playing it professionally. Byron hadn't actually bothered with any other string instruments, though the cello had always appealed to him greatly, and if Byron had had a bucket list, learning how to play it probably would've been on it. As it was, though, he was quite happy with his choice of keyboard. Andrew, in turn, seemed perfectly happy playing drums, so Byron was sure he understood the sentiment.
When Andrew explained how he'd picked the drums up whilst still at Hogwarts, Byron nodded. For him it had been the keyboard, but he presumed they probably had started playing music around the same age. Which really, just made Elise's whiny complaints about not being musically talented all the more legitimate. Not that Byron had any intention of informing their sister of that particular fact. With another smile, Byron picked up the snacks he'd put down, giving another nod towards the group, this time actually implying that they were probably best to go and join them again, before a search party was sent. Byron felt... perhaps not necessary less nervous about the whole thing, but he definitely appreciated that Andrew had put up with him, attempted a conversation. Byron knew he wasn't the easiest of people to talk to and never really expected anyone to bother. So he genuinely did appreciate that Andrew had.
