Lydia shifted on the seat so she was sitting more on her legs as she listened to him. Once he started talked she knew what he was talking about. Those alternate universe memories sure caused a lot of problems for a lot of people but in this instance it helped Lydia understand Higgs more. That way she didn't have to pressure him to talk more than he was comfortable with and cause more damage. "I'm sorry," was all she was able to whisper at first.
Shaking her head she reached out for him again, but just rested her hand next to him instead. "Don't look down on yourself, most people wouldn't have been able to handle that boggart in your shoes either. I know I certainly wouldn't have," she said as she attempted to comfort him. "You went through a horrible experience Higgs, you're going to be different because of it. Are you still going to those meetings?"
