Higgs followed Lydia in, taking a seat as she instructed him to. It wasn't until Higgs had sat down that he realised just how weak his muscles felt, the seat a welcomed relief. When Lydia presented him with a glass of water, Higgs took it instantly, taking a sip before frowning at the chocolate frog she pressed in his hand. "Really?" He asked raising an eyebrow at her, but did unwrap it nonetheless, biting its head off before the magic in the chocolate had time to react to the air around it and make the frog more of a challenge to eat.
"Just on the street," Higgs replied when Lydia asked where he'd met the boggart. "It was unexpected, in as much as anyone ever expects to encounter a boggart," Higgs explained taking another sip of the water. Both the sugar and the water was helping, the ringing in Higgs' ears slowly quieting. "Thank you," he offered looking up at Lydia, this time, the smile he gave her met his eyes slightly more. "I don't--" there Higgs paused, giving a small shake of his head. "I wasn't really thinking, I just came here, and then realised where I was," he added, looking over his shoulder at Lydia's wall, a clear indication that Higgs didn't mean he'd come to Lydia's flat.
