Cedric / OPEN
Fleur was hovering near the drinks table in an attempt to soak her brain in wine because the day had not been good. She was still rather shaken from her encounter with the boggart, and though she was a brave woman who had fought dragons and Sphinxes and so forth, she was still terrified of an imagined lake. So, wine. And lots of it.
She'd been talking to a slip of a girl, Laurie something, enthusing about how excellent her job really was despite all of the stupidity she had to deal with on a daily basis. Laurie Something didn't have much to contribute, of course, but Fleur had quite a lot to say on the matter so she didn't care.
She broke off, though, when she heard Cedric nearby. Cedric, her dear friend. She waved off the girl - who looked positively relieved to escape - and dropped her arm across her friend's back. "Yes, that is vodka," she said happily. "I tested it for myself."
