The idea of a vegetable patch sounded lovely. Herbs and vegetables would be something she could put her extra time into and it would help with her recovery, she thought. Enjoying planning meals would be good for her and if Max was willing to allow her such a small thing, she wasn't going to turn the option away.
Siobhan leaned into Max when he wrapped his arms around her. It was little moments like this that she loved the most. He had a way of making her feel special and loved with just a few words and a little gesture as simple as a hug. Or a compliment like the one that came shortly after.
"Yes," she said, following him inside. She didn't care much for the decor either, but she had to admit there was a lot of space. The kitchen was especially drab. "It's just so boring," she said, shaking her head. "But, we could always do new cabinetry," she said. "I do like the door, though." She looked over at it and then back to Max. "That would be perfect. Just open the door and there they are. And it would probably be really lovely to look out on with tea."
