Taking pictures was a very good idea, and Max pressed a chaste kiss to the top of Siobhan's head. "Genius," he murmured to her, wishing he had a camera with him now so they could take a picture of this kitchen as something they wanted. He could always book a time to come back - the good thing about big, expensive houses in the country was that they didn't sell anywhere near as fast as flats in London, so they would almost certainly be able to visit more than once.
"I like the colours," Max said, looking around at the orangey-floor tiles, yellow walls and warm wooden table and counter units. "And the built-in wine rack," he added with a smile. He would never have thought to build that in to a kitchen counter, but he found he liked the idea. After letting them take in the kitchen, the agent led them up the wooden stairs (which Max also liked a great deal) to the bedroom. Here even Max could see that the decoration was too fussy, the flowers and frills having nothing to offset them. "It's a nice size," he said to Siobhan. "Any bedroom that's big enough to have a couch in it is probably big enough for just about anything we'd need."
