Higgs wasn't sure he knew many people who liked numbers. He thought he might know some. The people he'd worked with who tended to be responsible for maps and general intelligence, they seemed to like numbers. But those were also people that were rather far detached from the soldiers on the ground, so Higgs wasn't sure he knew all that many of them well. "Do you enjoy working at the bank?" Higgs asked curiously since it wasn't the sort of job he would find enjoyable. But then, what he did find enjoyable was being in the army, and plenty of people would never sign themselves up for that, so really, swings and roundabouts.
"There is plenty of time to decide," Higgs agreed with a nod. "I just changed careers," he told her before giving a small shake of his head. "Well, I suppose it no longer qualifies as a 'just', it's been about ten months," which was not something Higgs had thought much of. He had certainly gone through a bout of not enjoying his job, but by now Higgs suspected it might've had more to do with the change than the job itself. He still preferred the army, but being a hitwizard wasn't actually all that bad (apart from the paperwork, Higgs hated the paperwork).
