Draco wasn't surprised that Hermione seemed puzzled by his answer. Most people who didn't know him all that well were always surprised to learn what he actually did for a living; people either expected him to have some sort of ministerial position or to simply live off of his family's money. "Kids were nicer than the adults," he replied with a shrug. It wasn't a complete lie the kids were a lot less judgemental - though it kind of helped since they weren't around during the war. Though there also had been the moment when during one round he'd managed calm a baby down when no one else had managed, and his mentor at the time had told him to consider Paediatrics further.
It looked like she did still have the same orange bushy-looking cat after all. "I'm sure he will be. The vet here is pretty decent," he offered. Draco wasn't sure what else to say since he and Hermione didn't really know each other all that well.
