"I'm sure others have thought the same," he said with a shrug. Draco knew most people who didn't know him expected him to act a certain way; it was half the reason he'd chosen being a Healer as a career in the first place. Something that was completely disassociated with the Malfoy name; well, aside from his mother's charity work anyway. He could've easily gotten a position at the Ministry though he had always felt that there would maybe be too much scrutiny on him there because of what his father had done in the past. "Paediatrics, although it does come under general practice as far as departments are concerned," he replied.
Draco acknowledged her answer with a nod. It probably wouldn't be nice to mention how it didn't sound terribly exciting, and Hermione probably well aware of it didn't need the reminder.
"How's your... pet?" he asked. Draco could vaguely recall she'd had some orange bushy-looking cat at Hogwarts but since he couldn't see into the carrier he didn't know if it was the same pet or not.
