Who: Andrew Kirke and Aisling Astor. What: Andrew has some family drama to tell Aisling about. Where: Aisling's room, Panquake House When: Sunday 2nd October, early evening.
As promised, Andrew had spent most of his Sunday in bed with Evan. At least, until Evan's hangover-induced laziness proved too much for Andrew's more restless temperament. Since he hadn't gone for a run that morning, he'd eventually convinced Evan to let him leave for a couple of hours to work out some of his building energy. He'd chosen a quick, intense run, followed by a trip to the gym for some proper weights. By the time he returned to Panquake House, he was more than ready to fall back into bed for the rest of the evening. First, though, he knew he needed to tell Nina what was going on. He'd been putting it off, which could end disastrously if Elise decided to go to the papers, or to try and reach him through Quake's official channels. Or (worse?) if she'd told Douglas and he decided to attempt either route himself.
Forcing himself to be Gryffindor, he'd headed straight for Nina's room, only to find that she wasn't in (or wasn't answering). That let the wind out of his sails considerably. On his way back to his room for his journal, he found himself pausing outside Aisling's door. He could hear violin music from inside, which meant she wasn't busy with Xavier or Axel's girlfriend, so Andrew knocked once and pushed the door open. He didn't say anything, just shut the door and found a place to sit on her bed, meeting her eyes but gesturing that she could finish - either her piece, or her practice, Andrew didn't mind. He wasn't exactly in a rush to talk about it, anymore than he had been on Thursday when he'd found out.
