"I think that depends on whether more things keep happening," Cedric said thoughtfully. "If everything just stops, and they only have the information currently available, that may not be enough to ever work out what it was. But if things keep happening, eventually someone will make a connection or something will happen that makes it more obvious." The chocolates, at least, had been deliberately tampered with by someone, so if the DMLE could track down who they might be able to get at least a bit of an explanation.
Cedric nodded at her explanation. He knew very well that the Weasleys hadn't exactly been in a financial position to travel abroad much, and perhaps Mary-Anne's family were similarly limited. "You might get to now, with Quake." Certainly, Cedric got the impression Aisling travelled a fair amount, and Xavier had been able to afford trips out to see Cedric often. "Where is a difficult choice to make, though," he agreed. "It depends what you like. If there's a particular type of food you like, or music, or an area of history or politics..." There were a lot of options. "If you were going alone, there's probably some places you'd want to avoid," he added, "but if you went with a friend you could go anywhere you wanted."
